PROMOTION DE LA CULTURE ARCHITECTURALE SOUS TOUTES SES FORMES

About us

Interligator was founded by architect David Vernet in 2007. Interligator develops mediation projects around architectural culture: visits, events, editorial, round tables, exhibitions.

Trained in France, Hungary, the Netherlands and Slovenia, David Vernet founded his architectural practice in both Paris and Bordeaux, while participating in multiple adventures around the art of building: teacher, guide for contemporary architecture, lobbying work towards European institutions, exhibition curator, author, mediator…

From 2007 to 2011, he was Head of Secretariat of the European Forum for Architectural Policies (EFAP), an international network devoted to foster and promote architecture and architectural policies among European political decision-makers (Commission, Parliament, Committee of the Regions, organizations professionals…). He organized and took part in several conferences and programs, notably on the cultural and creative industries, or the city of the future.

He also taught at the Technical University of Delft (Netherlands), where he was chief editor of Boutiques and Other Retail Spaces: The Architecture of Seduction (published by Routledge) and other articles in various European professional journals (Kontrast, Čovjek i prostor, a10…). He currently teaches in Bordeaux.

Finally, he is the founder of the architectural tour program Bordeaux Architecture Tours.

Elected Member of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Chamber of Architects.
